People who live around Yonge and Eglinton love the neighborhood because it is completely self-contained. From Sporting Life to Eglinton, you can pretty much get anything you want — except a Harvey’s burger.
This has to change.
If you live in Toronto, you’ve had Harvey’s. And if you’ve had Harvey’s, you’ve had their pickles, even if you don’t like pickles, because they’re legendary. Seriously, people talk about them in other countries. We’ve heard it.
But you know where people don’t talk about Harvey’s pickles? At Yonge and Eglinton, because there is no Harvey’s here.
Our offer to the good people at Harvey’s
So, Harvey’s….here’s our offer to you: if you open a location at Yonge and Eglinton, we can promise that someone from our office will be your very first customer. And we’ll capture the entire experience and post it to this blog. And we’ll probably come back a second, third, fourth and ninety-sixth time because…well…the pickles.
But don’t take too long, because we have other burger options in the neighborhood that we like, most notably the Burger Shack at Eglinton at Oriole. It’s a legend in the area, and for good reason. So by the time you get here, we might be over you.
So, Harv (can we call you Harv?)…let’s go already.
