Orthodontics & Porcelain Veneers for a Crossbite & Peg Laterals
This female patient came to our clinic wanting to straighten her teeth without extensive restorative work. She presented with a crossbite, which caused her front teeth to wear down from interfering with each other. Additionally, she had what are known as peg laterals—anatomically smaller, peg-shaped side teeth that created unwanted spaces in her smile. To address her concerns while respecting her desire for a minimally invasive approach, Dr. Kenneth Rozansky recommended a comprehensive treatment plan. First, her teeth were perfectly straightened and her bite corrected using orthodontics. Once her teeth were in the ideal position, custom porcelain veneers were placed on the two small side teeth to beautifully build up their shape and close the gaps. Finally, a small amount of dental bonding was applied to her front teeth to restore the worn edges. The final result is a stunning, perfectly aligned smile that maintains a highly conservative approach. The patient was very happy with the beautiful transformation and her renewed confidence.
