Dental Implant & Custom Crown for a Missing Baby Tooth

This male patient in his thirties came to our clinic with a unique but common dental issue: he had a retained baby tooth with no adult tooth growing underneath it. Eventually, the baby tooth came out, leaving him with an unwanted gap in his smile. Not wanting to live without the tooth, he sought a permanent and natural-looking solution. To beautifully restore his smile, Dr. Ari Katsnelson recommended placing a dental implant. After allowing the implant to heal perfectly over three to four months, the patient returned to have the tooth restored. A custom, screw-retained crown was carefully designed and tried in. This modern approach is highly beneficial as it avoids the use of dental cement and is easily retrievable if ever needed. Once the crown was securely screwed into the implant, the small access hole was seamlessly filled and polished. The final result is a stunning, natural-looking restoration that perfectly matches his neighbouring teeth. The patient was absolutely thrilled to have a complete, confident smile once again.
