Dental Implant Crown & Custom Shading for a Failing Front Tooth

This 37-year-old male patient came to our clinic experiencing pain in one of his upper front teeth. After a thorough assessment, it was determined that the tooth unfortunately could not be saved. To restore his smile, the tooth was carefully extracted and a dental implant was placed. Once the implant had fully healed, the patient returned to Dr. Randy Fisher for the final custom crown. While the initial crown provided by the dental lab had a reasonable colour match, it appeared slightly too bulky in the front due to the necessary positioning of the implant. Unwilling to compromise on the final aesthetic, the crown was removed and our master lab technician carefully shaved it down to a more natural contour. After reshaping and custom re-staining the porcelain, the newly refined crown was placed. The final result is a beautifully matched, natural-looking restoration that blends seamlessly with his surrounding teeth. The patient was very happy with the stunning outcome and his fully restored smile.
